Description

Recently someone at work decided to move to XcodeGen. Not a fan personally.
Primarily reason - every time we run it, which is on every build - I loose all my schema settings (args I pass to debug stuff), etc.
Is there a way for XcodeGen to stop messing with the xcshareddata folder please?

Research direction

The issue concerns XcodeGen's project regeneration and the xcshareddata folder, but names no source file, test, or entry point. Start by locating the project-generation flow and determine how regeneration handles xcshareddata; done means the folder's schema settings and debug arguments are no longer lost on each build.
