Description

I have the below configurations for my project.yml

configs:
    Development debug: debug
    Development release: release
    Production debug: debug
    Production release: release
    Staging debug: debug
    Staging release: release
    UAT debug: debug
    UAT release: release

targets:
      ProjectName:
          scheme:
              configVariants:
                  - Development
                  - Production
                  - Staging
                  - UAT
              configFiles:
                  Development: XCConfig/Development.xcconfig
                  Production: XCConfig/Production.xcconfig
                  Staging: XCConfig/Staging.xcconfig
                  UAT: XCConfig/UAT.xcconfig
              commandLineArguments:
                  "-MyEnabledArg": true
                  "-MyDisabledArg": false
              environmentVariables:
                  MY_ENV_VAR: VALUE
          type: application
          platform: iOS

But those xcconfig files do not get referenced for the particular target scheme in the build settings.
Can anyone please help on this one?

Research direction

Start by reproducing the configuration from project.yml with the listed XCConfig/*.xcconfig files and inspect the generated target build settings for each scheme. Done means the appropriate xcconfig file is referenced for each target configuration, or the limitation is documented clearly.
