Description
if I add xxx.framework to "framework" in "dependencies", Xcodegen will add a dir path to FRAMEWORK_SEARCH_PATHS.
if I add xxx.a to "framework" in "dependencies", Xcodegen will NOT add a dir path to LIBRARY_SEARCH_PATHS and should add it.

Research direction
Start by tracing how XcodeGen handles framework entries in dependencies and produces FRAMEWORK_SEARCH_PATHS in generated Xcode projects. Compare that path handling with .a library entries; done means a library dependency adds the containing directory to LIBRARY_SEARCH_PATHS as framework dependencies add their directory to FRAMEWORK_SEARCH_PATHS.
