Description

Hello,

I wonder whether it is possible to generate JSON schema for VSCode so that we can have auto completion in VSCode?

https://json-schema.org/specification.html is a great spec that we can leverage.

Currently, xcodegen does not use Codable. I'm not sure about the difficult to parse JSONObjectConvertible.
If we can parse the source code of xcodegen using projects like SourceKitten (https://github.com/jpsim/SourceKitten), export an intermediate format and convert it to schema JSON, it would be great.

Research direction

Start by reviewing XcodeGen's source and the JSONObjectConvertible approach, then investigate SourceKitten as the proposed parser and JSON Schema as the VSCode target. Done means XcodeGen can export an intermediate representation and generate a JSON Schema that provides autocomplete for its specification.
