Description
The PostGIS example in the docs for PersistDbSpecific stores the data extracted from the db as a hex encoded (Byte)String, as opposed to the underlying binary data which includes the full range of bytes instead of just 0-F.
This seems inefficient both speed-wise and memory-wise, so I was wondering if it was possible to efficiently get at that underlying binary data.
