Description

When compressing this sound:
sound.zip
which is quiet at the end, it gets noise after being converted to OPUS.

WAV ends exactly at 0, but generated OPUS goes below.
I've used 96kbps encoding.

How to fix the problem?

Here's the original WAV

After compressing to OPUS

Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported result from sound.zip using the attached WAV and 96 kbps encoding, then compare the final samples of the WAV and generated OPUS output. Investigate where the trailing samples become audible; done means the quiet ending remains silent after encoding.
