Description
Has anyone got any advice on how I can get ProjectM 21.0.3 to run on my Chinese Android TV box (RockChip rk3528_box) that uses OpenGL ES 2.0 on an ARM MALI 450 GPU? All I get is a black screen. It installs properly and is configurable via the GUI, but nothing appears on screen. The box runs on Android TV 13 and I'm running Kodi 21.2.
The same problem occurs with FishBMC, but other (not so interesting) visualizations work fine, as does video playback, so there must be something in those visualizations that doesn't play nice with my box.
Both those visualizations work fine on my nVidia Shield running with OpenGL ES 3.2 Android 11 Kodi 21.1.
I'm assuming that it's something to do with OpenGL and the GPU, but happy to be told otherwise.
I have a debug log link where I started with Goom, then moved to Project M, FishBMC, thenback to Goom. I had a look in the log, and couldn't see any obvious error messages.

Research direction
Start with the linked debug log, then reproduce ProjectM 21.0.3 and FishBMC on the rk3528_box while comparing them with Goom and the working nVidia Shield setup. No source file or test is named; done would require isolating a reproducible Android/OpenGL ES cause and documenting a confirmed compatibility result or project change.
