Description

Describe the problem

Playing live radio from the BBC fails on Piers, while it does play without problems on Omega. (non-drm dash)

Playing on-demand works fine though.

Possible fix

No response

Steps to reproduce
  1. install this small test plugin
    plugin.audio.test_streams_0.3.0.zip

  2. Open the plugin and play 'BBC Radio 1 live -dash'

Both the live and on-demand stream in the test plugin should play without account sign-in and are not geo-blocked.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure with plugin.audio.test_streams_0.3.0.zip and inspect the attached kodi.log.txt alongside manifest_1787253582.txt. Compare the live non-DRM DASH stream with the working on-demand stream and Omega behavior; done means BBC Radio 1 live playback works on Piers without breaking on-demand playback.
