Windows stack does not get created in us-east-2 region

When we try to create a windows stack in us-east-2 region, stack creation rolls back without a proper explenation
The requested configuration is currently not supported. Please check the documentation for supported configurations. (Service: AmazonEC2; Status Code: 400; Error Code: Unsupported; Request ID: e6664b88-2a2f-47f6-b34b-bd0e904f9542)
Checked : creating a ec2 instance with the same ami and same instance type, and it works fine
