Description
What problem does this address?
Yesterday, I set up a new blog. When prompted for "What's your website about?", I selected "Art" as the sole topic. When I reached the "Choose a domain" step, the domains I was suggested were entirely different from what my site was about (specifically, the .travel.blog top-level domain), even when there was more topic-appropriate domains available (.art.blog in my case).
What is your proposed solution?
The website topic should influence which domain extensions are offered. If I'm prompted to tell you what my site is about, I would expect you'd use that information to provide me suggestions tailored to what it's about.
This was especially confusing because these screens are so close to each other in the setup flow, I was really surprised when I was suggested "travel" domains for my art site.
This isn't my video, but this video shows that there's only a single screen between topic selection and domain selection (~20 seconds in the video): https://youtu.be/-374lxHtQz4?t=20

Research direction
Start by tracing the iOS setup flow from the website-topic prompt to the domain-selection screen, then inspect how the selected topic is carried between those screens and how suggestions are chosen. Done means topic-appropriate extensions such as .art.blog are prioritized for an Art site instead of unrelated extensions such as .travel.blog.
