Description

After I registered a custom domain successfully, I was taken immediately back to the plugin installation. This was surprising — I had no confirmation that the domain registration was successful.

Could we add a screen at this point to explain:

  1. that the domain registration worked,
  2. that the domain might be a little unreliable for 72 hours,
  3. that the plugin installation might take a while (since the automated transfer is happening).
Steps to reproduce
  1. Select a site with the Business plan and a free domain credit.
  2. Go to My Sites > Plugins.
  3. Install a plugin.
  4. Follow the prompt to register a custom domain.

Result: You end up back on the plugin installation with no success message related to the domain registration or explanation (reminder) of what's happening now.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the plugin-installation flow in the issue: begin from My Sites > Plugins and follow the custom-domain registration prompt. Locate the transition back to plugin installation and add a success screen covering registration completion, possible 72-hour unreliability, and the automated transfer delay.
