Description

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Media > + > Take photo.
  2. Select the "Choose from Free Photo Library" option.
  3. Find a photo and add it.
  4. Look for a snackbar prompt with a "Write Post" link.

Result: the snackbar prompt for Write Post is missing for the "Choose from Free Photo Library" flow. (26s)

Here is an example of the prompt that is expected and which works when using the other flows, such as "Take Photo," but that is missing from the "Choose from Free Photo Library" flow:

Tested with WPAndroid alpha-159 (12.1 alpha) on Pixel 3 Android 9 on Jetpack 7.1.1 WP 5.1.1 site serious-snake.jurassic.ninja.

Research direction

Start with the Media > + > Take photo flow and compare the "Choose from Free Photo Library" path with the working "Take Photo" flow. Reproduce the steps on Android and verify that adding a photo displays the snackbar prompt with a "Write Post" link.
