Description
Expected behavior
Sharing media to the editor should be quick at least to show the block's placeholder while the image is being uploaded.
Actual behavior
In some scenarios, when an image is shared through intents to the editor you'd see the blank editor for a few seconds until the image shows up.
Ideally, the editor should open, and show the image block placeholder with the media being uploaded and not a blank canvas.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
- Open the Photos app or any Files Explorer app
- Select an image and share it to the editor
Tested on a Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, Android 14, JPAndroid / WPAndroid (latest version)

Research direction
Reproduce the issue by sharing an image from Photos or a Files Explorer app to the editor, using the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G and Android 14 details provided. Trace the share-to-editor flow and observe when the editor and image block become visible. Done means the editor opens promptly with an image block placeholder while the media uploads, rather than showing a blank canvas.
