Description

Expected behavior

The audio block was recently supported in the Gutenberg editor. When the block is viewed in the Reader, and audio is played, it should stop when leaving the post.

Actual behavior

When the audio block is viewed in the Reader, and audio is played, when leaving the post, it keeps playing in the background.

Steps to reproduce the behavior
  1. Using a WordPress.com site on a free plan, add an audio block to a post.
File samples can be found here if you need them.
  2. Insert an audio file from a URL and update the post.
  3. View the post in the Reader and play the audio.
  4. Tap the device Back Button or swipe back.
  5. Notice that the audio keeps playing.
Tested on Pixel 5, Android 11, WPAndroid 17.6-rc-1

Research direction

No files, tests, or code entry points are named. First reproduce the issue on Android by playing an audio block in a Reader post and navigating back; done means the audio stops after either the device Back button or a swipe-back gesture.
