Description

Expected behavior

When I search for eg "Android" in the Reader and I switch to "Sites" tab, it shows some results. I see the same results after I rotate my device.

Actual behavior

When I search for eg "Android" in the Reader and I switch to "Sites" tab, it shows some results. The results disappear after I rotate my device - empty result screen is shown.

Steps to reproduce the behavior
  1. Open Reader
  2. Click on Search
  3. Type "Android"
  4. Press "Done"
  5. Switch to "Sites" tab
  6. Notice there are results
  7. Rotate your device
  8. Notice the screen is empty
Tested on [device], Android [version], WPAndroid [version]

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue in the Reader with the Sites tab, using the listed Android emulator setup, then inspect how the search results are retained across device rotation. Done means the existing Sites results remain visible after rotation instead of showing the empty result screen.
