Description
Hi!
When I try to open a PDF file using Nautilus with Adobe on Gnome, Adobe Acrobat DC opens with an error message saying There was a problem opening this document. "The specified path is invalid."
I can open the same file perfectly if I open Adobe first and then choose the file from there.
This only happens with Adobe Acrobat, as Office 365 apps work just fine.
I'm using Pop!_OS 22.04 and Gnome 42.5 on Wayland, however, I am able to reproduce the issue on X11 as well.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the failure when opening a PDF from Nautilus with Adobe Acrobat, comparing it with opening the same file from Acrobat and with Office 365. Trace the Nautilus integration entry point and verify that the selected PDF opens successfully in Acrobat on both Wayland and X11.
