Acceptance Criteria:

1. Articulate how the feature works on iOS as a baseline before scoping Android architecture.
2. Discuss iOS use explicitly from the user's point of view
3. Consider Android implementation considerations from above documentation
4. Submit a plan for implementation including any design, development, etc. needed.

Start by reading the linked iOS research document and feature overview, then review the Listening Mode Figma design and the vocable-android repository. Describe the iOS user flow, identify Android implementation considerations, and submit a scoped implementation plan covering design and development work.
