Incorrect Categories label after navigating away from Home screen for a 'while'

Describe the bug
Navigating away from the Home screen for anywhere from 5-60 seconds returns the Categories label to the 1st category (usually the "General" category, unless the order was changed). The Categories label will also be unselected. This bug does not apply if the user was already originally on the 1st category (i.e. "General).

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Navigate away from the 1st category (i.e. "General". If you are unsure which category is the 1st, go to Settings > Categories and Phrases and look for the first Category in that list)
2. Navigate away from the Home page, either by tapping the Keyboard button or the Settings button
3. Wait for about 10 seconds
4. Return to the Home screen

Expected behavior
The Category label near the top returns to the original Category that was selected, and remains selected (green)

Actual Behavior
The Category label jumps back to the 1st Category and is also unselected (purple). Note that the behaviour of the Phrases is still correct.
