Description
Currently, the only way to see which citation/reference belongs to which interaction/node is to open a pathway in PathVisio. Feedback from the Curation meeting was that it would be very useful to be able to see the references in the svg at WikiPathways. A related help desk question pointed to the same thing; the user wanted to see evidence for a particular interaction in WikiPathways.

Research direction
Start by inspecting the WikiPathways website implementation and how it renders pathway SVG images; the issue does not name a file, test, or entry point. Compare the requested behavior with how PathVisio associates citations with interactions and nodes. Done means references are visible for the relevant SVG pathway elements on WikiPathways.
