Description

anywidget works in marimo notebooks and is the recommended way to build widgets. IPYReact throws JS errors. I assume this is because of the shared module. I'm not asking ipyreact to change, I just want to link it here for visibility. Here is the bug I filed for marimo

https://github.com/marimo-team/marimo/issues/2904

Research direction

Start with the linked marimo issue #2904 and its reported JavaScript errors. This issue names no ipyreact file, test, or entry point; investigate whether the shared module is involved and establish a reproducible failure before proposing any change. No implementation scope or completion condition is specified here.
