Description

Objective

Replace generic UI boilerplates across modal dialogs, validation notices, empty states, and system errors.

Key Focus Areas

  • Empty States: Clear, directive instructions when no data exists (e.g., first login, no active habits, empty reflection log).
  • Confirmation Dialogs: Plain-English warnings for destructive or final actions (resets, unenrollment, data deletion).
  • Error & Status Banners: Clear descriptions of what failed and the exact step required to fix it.

Tone & Voice

  • Direct, functional, and devoid of fake digital empathy (e.g., avoid "Oops! Something went wrong").

Acceptance Criteria

  • All empty states provide clear, single-action instructions to proceed.
  • Confirmation modals clearly describe consequences without dramatic language.
  • Technical error messages state the issue plainly and provide an actionable remedy.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating the modal, validation, empty-state, banner, and system-error UI components, then inventory their current messages. Done means every listed state has direct wording, clear consequences or remedies, and single-action instructions where applicable.
