The current copy across both platforms (Student Application and Educator Portal) consists largely of generative AI placeholders. While structurally sound, the text lacks the grounded authenticity, pedagogical clarity, and lived experience required for a curriculum centered on self-governance, personal accountability, and executive functioning.

To build trust and engagement, the voice must reflect real-world human experience—specifically bridging pedagogical discipline with the principles of recovery and self-direction.

Target Audience & Voice Guidelines

• Student App: Direct, candid, and empowering. Avoid patronizing corporate speak, academic jargon, or generic motivational filler. Focus on individual agency, ownership of choices, and actionable habit systems.
• Educator/Teacher Portal: Structured, objective, and practical. Focus on implementation mechanics, non-coercive facilitation, and measurable student development.
• Philosophical Anchor: Emphasize personal responsibility, peer-to-peer honesty, and step-based accountability.

Scope & Target Surface Areas (sub-issues)

1. Educator Platform

• Landing page and protocol overview
• Core curriculum guides and lesson plans
• Facilitator notes and implementation rubrics
• UI microcopy (navigation, onboarding prompts, help text)

2. Student Platform

• Onboarding flow and personal contract/agreements
• Daily/weekly reflection prompts and module exercises
• Self-governance tracking tools and progress states
• System alerts, confirmations, and empty states

Execution Plan & Workflow

To avoid massive, unmanageable merge conflicts, this work will be divided into modular PRs:

1. Phase 1: Brand & Onboarding Copy
   • Site landing pages, hero statements, and initial user onboarding flows.
2. Phase 2: Educator Core Curriculum
   • Lesson text, exercise prompts, and facilitator documentation.
3. Phase 3: Student Workflows & UI Microcopy
   • Exercise descriptions, reflection forms, error messages, and button labels.

Acceptance Criteria

• All generic AI prose, repetitive phrasing, and synthetic transitions are removed.
• Copy strictly aligns with the project's focus on personal autonomy and mutual accountability.
• Source files updated cleanly in the monorepo (.md, .mdsvex, or copy schema/JSON files).
• Each section submitted in isolated, reviewable PRs linked to this tracking issue.

Contributors with background in:

• 12-Step recovery, sponsorship, or fellowship literature.

• Plain-English technical or instructional writing.

Work through the phases in isolated PRs, beginning with brand and onboarding copy.
