Description

Feature Request for the future

Creating a dashboard which would interactively showcase the data within /explorer-data and other sources.

Could be a feature within the Explorer app or a standalone webapp with its own subdomain.

Features:

  • Leveraging open sourced data visualiation tools, FOSS only
  • Seek to create a self-hostable soltion (does not leverage a third-party such has Github or Vercel)
  • Dashboard should aggreagate various visualisation on load
  • Filtering by ecosystem, chain, protocol and other categories
  • Have CTA buttons and prompts to improve the data
  • No ads or web-tracking
  • Ability to easily export the data on screen (no need for screenshooting).
  • Embedded watermarks of web3privacy now
  • Open license to the visualisation and outputs
  • To include more data sources than just explorer-data

Research direction

Start by reviewing the /explorer-data contents and the existing Explorer app, if present, to determine available data sources and integration points. Define the dashboard scope, deployment model, visualization tools, filtering, export, licensing, and privacy requirements before implementation. Done requires an agreed design and a working self-hostable dashboard covering the specified requirements.
