Application won't open after running update on Ubuntu 20

To reproduce

Download the latest .deb file from the website on an Ubuntu 20 machine and try to open the application.

Expected behavior

No screen will appear when application is opened

Start by reproducing the update path described: install the latest .deb on Ubuntu 20 and open Warp, including the red update popup referenced in issue 5133. Compare the result with the reported last working date of 8/7/24; done means the application opens normally after updating, with the regression understood and verified.
