Research direction

Start by reproducing the Alt+F4 flow on Ubuntu and inspect the close confirmation pop-up's keyboard handling. Done means pressing Enter after the pop-up appears completes the close action without requiring a mouse.

Describe the solution you'd like?

I use my keyboard and shortcuts a lot and it bugs me that I have to pick up my mouse to close Warp. I'm on Ubuntu, but suspect this applies to other platforms.

Current state:

  • press alt+f4 to close Warp
  • A pop-up appears
  • If I hit enter, space, tab, or just about any other key nothing happens
  • I need to pick up the mouse to move to the correct button in the prompt to finish closing the application

Desired state:

  • press alt+f4 to close Warp
  • A pop-up appears
  • press enter
  • The pop-up completes and Warp closes
