Describe the solution you'd like?
I like to have different terminal background colors for different projects I'm working on (yes, I have too many windows&tabs open for my own good) and for iTerm2 I have a small script that sets a slight variant of the current theme background color (e.g. tweaks the hue value but keeps other params).
Are there any plans for a programmable API that would let me do something similar?
