ghq/peco doesn't work

To reproduce

brew install ghq
brew install peco

Add ~/.zshrc

function peco-src () {
  local selected_dir=$(ghq list -p | peco --query "$LBUFFER")
  if [ -n "$selected_dir" ]; then
    BUFFER="cd ${selected_dir}"
    zle accept-line
  fi
  zle clear-screen
}
zle -N peco-src
bindkey '^]' peco-src

Expected behavior

I want to be able to move github repositories using ghq/peco

Reproduce the issue on macOS 14.4.1 with zsh 5.9 after installing ghq and peco and adding the provided ~/.zshrc function. Start by checking what happens when the ^] binding runs in Warp, then compare it with another terminal; done means the ghq/peco repository navigation workflow works in Warp.
