Start by reproducing the crash on LMDE 6 with Warp v0.2024.04.09.08.01.stable_01 while resizing the window, and compare the behavior with other terminals as reported. No source file or test is identified in the issue; done means resizing no longer turns the screen black or crashes Cinnamon/Xorg.
