No application icon with AppImage (ubuntu 22.04)

Describe the bug

I just installed Warp on Ubuntu Linux 22.04 LTS (pretty default setup) as AppImage.
Running it seems to go fine, but the app icon is a generic gear icon: in task bar, in file viewer, when (alt-tab) switching to other windows, etc

To reproduce

• download AppImage on Ubuntu 22.04
• run the appimage

Expected behavior

See a real icon instead of the fallback one

Yes, this I confirmed this only happens in Warp, not other terminals.

Start by investigating the AppImage packaging and desktop integration on Ubuntu 22.04 with Wayland, using the reproduction steps and screenshots as the entry point. Done means Warp displays its real application icon in the taskbar, file viewer, and window switcher instead of the generic gear icon.
