Window resize glitching on Ubuntu

Describe the bug

The window resizing is glitching both the background and in content of the terminal window.
The content of the window seems to act in reverse to the resize direction

Note that the built-in ubuntu screen recording tool also does not seem to play well with the way you render the window.
What you don't see here is that the area of the terminal window outside the crop-out is completely black while recording.

Yes, this I confirmed this only happens in Warp, not other terminals.

Start by reproducing the glitch on Ubuntu 23.10 in an X11 session with the NVIDIA 535 driver, using the linked screencast as a reference. Trace the terminal window's resize and rendering behavior; done means resizing no longer reverses content movement, glitches the background, or leaves the surrounding area black.
