Research direction
Start with the InteractionOptions dictionary in the linked W3C specification and review pull request 561 for the context around data. Determine from the scripting-call discussion what role data is intended to serve and whether the specification explains that role; done means the need and expected use of data are resolved and reflected in the specification.
