Description

Whilst working on adopting ReSpec’s <dfn data-cite=…> for maintaining the bibliography, I discovered that the way we interchangably talk about JSON and ECMAScript objects overlap.

I also note that ECMAScript has published ECMA-404 defining JSON.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the ReSpec bibliography approach described in the issue, then compare the WebDriver specification's use of JSON and ECMAScript objects with ECMA-262 and ECMA-404. Done means the relevant dependencies and terminology are identified and the specification's treatment is made consistent.
