Description

Logging a feature request to allow configuration of lossless encoding for codecs that support. In Chrome, the AV1 and VP9 encoders probably both could support. I'm not immediately sure whether this should be a codec-specific vs top-level config member.

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points to inspect. Start by determining how lossless encoding is represented for the AV1 and VP9 encoders and whether configuration belongs at the codec or top level. Done means the configuration location and supported-codec behavior are specified.
