Description

The Alignment spec is basically totally done and stable and ready to go, except for a ton of details about baseline alignment; dbaron has a blocking issue, i18n wants diagrams, and impls keep filing issues about subtle mistakes.

In the interest of not holding back all the good stable parts of this spec from getting to CR and beyond, can we punt baseline to the next level?

Research direction

Start with the CSS Alignment specification and the baseline-alignment details described in issue #4660. Review the blocking concern from dbaron, the requested i18n diagrams, and the implementation issues mentioned in the discussion. Done means the Working Group has decided whether baseline alignment moves to level 4 while the remaining stable material can proceed.
