Description

::highlight(a),
::highlight(b),
::highlight(c) {
  background-color: yellow;
  color: black;
}

I get three times Error: CSS: Parse Error. on the three ::highlight lines. I think that's a bug in the CSS-validator.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with the provided CSS snippet and locate the CSS parser entry point that handles the three ::highlight selectors. Done means the validator accepts these selectors without reporting parse errors; add or run a focused parser test if the repository provides one.
