Description

Is there a place for including mathematical and chemistry typesetting standards under the language requirements forums? I have been speaking with Ibrahima Barry about publishing standards for math and chemistry typesetting in Adlam. Looking through various gap analysis reports in W3C, I have not seen a section pertaining specifically to math. I have also looked at the MathML issues on Github and I don't see postings related to math for non-Latin writing systems.

Thanks.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the referenced W3C gap analysis reports, MathML GitHub issues, and the discussion with Ibrahima Barry. The issue does not identify a file, test, or concrete change; the work would need a defined scope and an agreed standard for math and chemistry typesetting in Adlam and other African writing systems.
