Description

It cannot use "insert" directly. That should probably be "pre-insert". And now I introduced "insert adjacent" it should probably reuse that: https://github.com/whatwg/dom/commit/8fa7ac749d1b612504184aad2c20808a1785b370.

Research direction

Start by reading the referenced WHATWG DOM commit and comparing its changes with the current DOM-Parsing specification. Determine how insertAdjacentHTML should handle the proposed pre-insert behavior and reuse the insert-adjacent operation. Done means the specification reflects the intended behavior and the issue's broken case is resolved.
