Description
Looks like vue-devtools browser extension cannot detect vue inside iframe in external frontend (that has different domain and hosted by other company servers).
Vue-devtools standalone works, but extension not.
Is it possible to resolve?

Research direction
The issue names no file, test, or entry point. Start by reproducing the failure with the Vue devtools browser extension against a Vue app in an iframe on a different domain, compare it with standalone devtools, and determine whether the extension can support that setup without violating browser isolation; done means detection works in the reported external-frontend case.
