Description

Is this a new report?

Yes

System Info

Void 7.1.13+1-asahi_1 aarch64

Package(s) Affected

gdk-pixbuf-2.42.12_2

Does a report exist for this bug with the project's home (upstream) and/or another distro?

/usr/bin/gdk-pixbuf-thumbnailer is missing from the package in the Void aarch64 repo. Hesitated to open this, as glycin may be replacing, but may be simple fix. I notice the that there is an "optional" flag that may prevent building thumbnailer if cross-compile is detected, but it makes little sense to me. When I built from source on aarch64 (Asahi kernel) with xbps-src, the thumbnailer is generated as expected.

Expected behaviour

gdk-pixbuf should provide gdk-pixbuf-thumbnailer on aarch64.

Actual behaviour

Missing /usr/bin/gdk-pixbuf-thumbnailer

Steps to reproduce

Install gdk-pixbuf package from aarch64 repo

Research direction

Locate the gdk-pixbuf package template and inspect its build options, especially the optional setting that affects the thumbnailer during cross-compilation. Compare the aarch64 package build with a source build, then verify that installing the package provides /usr/bin/gdk-pixbuf-thumbnailer.
