Description

Is this a new report?

Yes

System Info

Void 6.18.38_1 x86_64 AuthenticAMD uptodate rrrmFF

Package(s) Affected

dune3d-1.4.0_1

Does a report exist for this bug with the project's home (upstream) and/or another distro?

There is no bug report upstream. As this problem makes the software unusable that suggests this is a Void-only problem (or maybe a me-problem if I'm unlucky).

Expected behaviour

Dune 3D should open a Gnome file dialog on actions like open, save or export STL.

Actual behaviour

Actions that should open a file dialog do nothing. If I for example open "Export STL" there is no file dialog. Instead "No file selected. Dismissed by user" is printed on stdout or stderr.

This worked before and broke probably when updating to 1.4.0.

Steps to reproduce
  1. Start a new project in Dune 3D.
  2. Try to save or export.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the issue with dune3d-1.4.0_1 using the listed save and Export STL steps, while capturing the “No file selected” output. Then inspect the Void package definition and its change from the previously working version. Done means Dune 3D opens a file dialog for open, save, and Export STL.
