Description
Is this a new report?
Yes
System Info
Void 6.12.93_1 x86_64 GenuineIntel notuptodate rrrF
Package(s) Affected
kdenlive-26.04.1_1
Does a report exist for this bug with the project's home (upstream) and/or another distro?
No response
Expected behaviour
Applying the Gaussian blur effect to an object in the timeline should simply blur it (as is the case in the Flatpak version of Kdenlive).
Actual behaviour
The Gaussian blur effect does not seem to be working. The image is not blurred, and an error message
MLT: "[filter avfilter.gblur filter6] Cannot set src colorspace 2"
pop's up. This also happens with other blur effects. This issue does not appear in the Flatpak version of Kdenlive, so I assume that this is not an upstream bug.
Steps to reproduce
- Open an empty project
- Add any object to a timeline (image or a video)
- Apply the Gaussian blur effect from the effects tab

Research direction
No source file, test, or package entry point is identified in the report. Start by reproducing the Gaussian blur failure with the Void kdenlive-26.04.1_1 package and compare it with the Flatpak behavior; done means blur effects work without the reported colorspace error.
