The error occurs when I shut down or reboot during an Xfce session.
z.B. xfce4-session-logout --halt --fast or xfce4-session-logout --reboot --fast.

When I run "sudo reboot" or "sudo shutdown" in the terminal, the error does not occur.

Expected behaviour

Clean reboot or shutdown, including from within the Xfce session.

Actual behaviour

Error on every reboot or shutdown

Steps to reproduce

xfce4-session-logout --halt --fast
xfce4-session-logout --reboot --fast

Research direction

Start by reproducing the failure with xfce4-session-logout --halt --fast and --reboot --fast, then compare it with sudo reboot or sudo shutdown. Investigate the elogind-252.39_1 package in the Xfce session context; done means shutdown and reboot complete without the reported elogind segfault.
