Description
swww - a wallpaper setting daemon for wayland has been public archived, see: https://github.com/LGFae/swww?tab=readme-ov-file
the new version is called awww and is hosted on codeberg, being maintained and offers more features, for example a --namespace option which is useful under wayland compositors like niri. This would fix one of the current workarounds (using swww + swaybg or wbg) for setting independet wallpapers for different layers.
