Install emulationstation and try opening with emulationstation

Start by reproducing the failure with emulationstation --debug for EmulationStation-2.9.4_1 and inspect the assertion at ../es-core/src/resources/Font.cpp:21. Compare the package with the linked upstream report and verify that EmulationStation launches without the unknown-file-type error or assertion.
