Description
Arx Libertatis is a cross-platform port of the GPL'd source code of the 2002 first-person RPG/dungeon crawler Arx Fatalis, developed by Arkane Studios. The game assets remain proprietary, and should be legally acquired to play the game, just like Quake's data is loaded by Quakespasm (just an example).

Research direction
Start with the Arx Libertatis project and its linked Linux downloading and compiling guide, then compare existing game packages in void-packages to understand the package entry point and build conventions. Done means Arx Libertatis is represented as a buildable Void package while requiring users to obtain the proprietary game assets legally.
