Description
Hi,
I posted the issue that the obs's virtual cam was not detected by Signal-Desktop in https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Desktop/issues/5559, and they have disowned the issue because they do not support Void!
I would like to draw the attention of @julio641742 who maintains the Signal-Desktop Void package. Thanks!

Research direction
Start by reproducing the failure with the Void Signal-Desktop package, OBS's virtual camera, and v4l2loopback. Compare the behavior with the linked Signal-Desktop issue and investigate the package-specific environment; done means the virtual camera is detected in Signal-Desktop on Void.
