Description
It would be nice to enable mkfs.* flags (e.g. F2FS extra_attr & compression) and mount options from the installer UI.

Research direction
Start by locating the installer UI and the code that invokes mkfs.* and mounts filesystems. Trace how filesystem settings are represented and passed through, then determine how F2FS flags such as extra_attr and compression, along with mount options, should be exposed and validated. Done means the installer can accept and apply these options.
