As noted by @fosslinux in https://github.com/void-linux/void-packages/pull/23126:
RE: tlmgr. Hm, yes, I see the use for user mode. When this is documented in Void Docs, however, I think we need to make it clear that it is completely unsupported to use tlmgr for installing stuff system-wide.
