Research direction
The issue does not name any files, tests, or entry points. Begin by locating the pyvmomi APIs for ESX host storage adapters and determine whether HBA queue depth and timeout are exposed; done means identifying an available equivalent to the stated esxcli command or documenting that the API does not provide one.
