Description

Hi guys,

Installed the ova 3.0 version on esxi (master and node). Followed the wiki doc to configure both a master and a node.

I had to change manually the file /etc/kubernetes/kubeconfig on the node machine in order to join the cluster (default value was 127.0.0.1 and it could not connect to the master). Did I miss a step in the doc for that or it should be autogenerated from another file somehow?

What would be the next step on the master to get proper config file that I can use on a remote client to connect to the cluster? Could not find any keys to use for remote access of it.

Thank you,
Dmitry

Research direction

Review the Kubernetes introduction wiki page and the node's /etc/kubernetes/kubeconfig setup described in the issue. Determine which configuration steps are missing for joining a master and for connecting a remote client, then update the relevant documentation so both workflows have clear, reproducible instructions.
